Education in Dorset

Using three very different schools as examples we have considered how they serve as a community within themselves and within the local area and looked at comparisons and contrasts between the three schools.

 We have also considered the growth of the towns of Bournemouth and Poole and how educational establishments have grown and changed to cater for the growing population since 1800. Legislation forced some of those changes and the impact of this has been taken into account.
