1969-Present

1970 - Amalgamation of the two schools into one, with the boys' school house system being adopted.

1977 - The school reached a record number of passes in exam results.

1985 - Headmaster John Short focused on a technical education.

1988 - £155,000 spent for a new science block.

1991 - Request to change name rejected.

1992 - Request to change name rejected again.

1993 - Request to change name to Poole Technical High School accepted.

1995 - Another new science block installed at the cost of £370,000.
